Welding and grinding tables with extraction
TEKA grinding and extraction tables capture dust and fumes directly at the workpiece: backwards through the rear wall or downwards through the table surface.

Clean workstations for welding and grinding
Extraction directly at the workpiece
The grinding table extracts dust backwards through a rear wall and additionally downwards. The extraction table captures fumes and dust below the table surface, for example during manual plasma cutting. The welding training bench is made for training workshops and industrial companies.
The right system to go with it
Grinding and extraction tables are connected to a filter system or a fan. We advise you on the right combination and, on request, measure the exposure at your workstations.
Which table suits your work?
The decisive factors are whether you mainly weld, grind or cut and how large the workpieces are. All tables are of sturdy welded construction and available in several widths; special sizes are possible on request.
Welding table with extraction
There are two ways to set up a welding station with extraction:
- Extraction table with downdraft extraction: fumes and dust are extracted downwards through the flat steel surface. A baffle plate distributes the pollutants inside the table and calms the air flow.
- Welding table with extraction from above: combine the welding training bench with an extraction arm or a mobile welding fume extractor.
Find out more about choosing on our page on welding fume extraction.

Grinding table with extraction
The grinding table with rear wall suction extracts dust backwards and downwards. A large share of the particles is already separated at the rear wall and can easily be disposed of via the dust collection drawer.
- Standard: rear wall suction, flat steel surface, pre-separator and dust collection drawer
- Open sides: without fixed side walls, long and bulky workpieces can also be worked on ergonomically.
- Optional: swivelling side panels, folding lamella curtains, partial roof with lighting and wooden slats
The extraction wall is also available separately for wall or floor mounting and can be extended modularly. More on our page on grinding dust extraction.
Extraction table for manual plasma and flame cutting
Plasma cutting produces fumes and dust mainly below the workpiece. The extraction table with downdraft extraction captures them right there. A firebrick surface is available as an option. More tables can be found under extraction tables for manual plasma and flame cutting systems.
Welding table for training workshops
The welding training bench is welded from profile steel and easy to assemble. Welding is done on the bar grate or on firebricks. With the welding fixture, welding exercises can be carried out in different positions.

Which filter system goes with the table?
Grinding and extraction tables have no fan of their own. They are connected to a filter system or a fan that matches the air demand of the table.
- Welding: mobile filter systems for single stations or stationary filter systems for several stations
- Grinding, polishing, brushing: stationary filter systems for grinding dust
For combustible dusts, for example when grinding aluminium, we advise you on the right version.
Accessories for welding and grinding tables
- Welding fixture for the welding training bench
- Removable side walls, swivelling: prevent grinding particles from escaping at the sides
- Lamella suspension, swivelling: for both sides of the grinding table
- Roof with lighting and wooden slats for the grinding table
From advice to maintenance
We are happy to discuss which combination of table and extraction suits you. With an on-site air quality measurement we determine the exposure at your workstations. The funding check shows whether funding may be available.
Extraction technology that knows your industry
Series production, workshops and plant engineering each have their own requirements for limit values, air performance and continuous operation. Our systems are designed for this and in use from medium-sized companies to large corporations.
Looking for an individual extraction solution? We are happy to advise you personally.

FAQ: your questions about welding and grinding tables
What is a welding table with extraction?
A work table at which fumes and dust are extracted directly at the workpiece. On the extraction table this happens downwards through the table surface. Alternatively, a welding table is combined with an extraction arm or a mobile extraction unit.
How does a grinding table with extraction work?
The TEKA grinding table extracts dust backwards through a rear wall and additionally downwards. A large share of the particles is already separated at the rear wall and collects in the dust collection drawer.
Do I also need a filter system?
Yes. Grinding and extraction tables are connected to a filter system or a fan. We advise you on which system matches the air demand of your table.
Which table is suitable for training?
The welding training bench, which is used in training workshops and training centres. With the welding fixture, exercises can be carried out in different positions.
Are the tables available in special sizes?
All tables are available in several widths. Special sizes are possible on request.
How much does a welding or grinding table cost?
That depends on the version and accessories. You can see your conditions after logging in to the shop, and we will also be happy to prepare a quotation for you.
