Extraction arms for welding fumes and dust
TEKA extraction arms bring the extraction hood right to the source. Thanks to spring support they stay in any position: on the wall, on mobile units or with a wall bracket for long reaches.

Capture fumes and dust where they are generated
Easy to position
The spring-assisted joints make the extraction arm easy to move, and it stays self-supporting in any set position. The throttle valve in the extraction hood lets you adjust the air volume.
Matched to your system
The arms are connected to single fans, mobile filter units or central extraction and filter systems. We advise you on the right combination.
Which extraction arm suits your workstation?
The decisive factors are the required reach, the air volume and the mounting location. The extraction arms are available in the nominal sizes NW 150 and NW 200, with internal or external joints depending on the version.
Extraction arm for wall mounting
The hose-type suction arm is mounted with a sturdy wall bracket, including pipe bend and a low-wear, self-lubricating swivel flange. It is suitable for fixed workstations such as welding stations and welding tables and is connected to a fan or a central extraction system.
- NW 150: for welding fume extraction
- NW 200: for larger air volumes, for example in flux-cored arc welding
All wall-mounted arms can be found under extraction arms for wall mounting.

Long reaches with a wall bracket
If the work area is further away from the wall, a wall bracket with C-rail extends the reach. The combination of extraction arm and wall bracket also covers larger work areas, for example on large workpieces. More under extraction arms with wall bracket.
Extraction arm for mobile extraction units
For mobile filter units, the extraction arm is available in a version for unit mounting. This creates a mobile extraction system that moves with you to the workstation. Suitable arms can be found under extraction arms for mobile units, the matching units under mobile filter systems for welding.
Telescopic extraction arm and extraction crane
- Telescopic extraction arms: need little space, are infinitely height-adjustable and are suitable, for example, for welding booths and training centres.
- Extraction cranes: for large outreaches, connected to a central system or a single fan. Tools such as a wire feeder can be suspended from the boom.
Capturing correctly
The closer the extraction hood is to the source, the less fume reaches the breathing air. Keep the hood as close as possible to the welding point as you work.
- Throttle valve: regulates the air volume directly at the hood
- Nozzle plate: enlarges the capture area of the hood
- Spark protection grid: protects the system from flying sparks
- Lighting kit: brings light to the workstation
Fan or filter system to go with it
An extraction arm needs a fan or a filter system. For single stations there are fans for mounting on extraction arms, for several workstations stationary filter systems for welding. Find out more about choosing on our page on welding fume extraction.

We are happy to discuss which arm and which system suit you. With an on-site air quality measurement we determine the exposure at your workstations. The funding check shows whether funding may be available.
Extraction technology that knows your industry
Series production, workshops and plant engineering each have their own requirements for limit values, air performance and continuous operation. Our systems are designed for this and in use from medium-sized companies to large corporations.

FAQ: your questions about extraction arms
What is an extraction arm?
A movable arm with an extraction hood that captures fumes and dust directly at the source. It is mounted on the wall, on a mobile unit or on a bracket and connected to a fan or a filter system.
Which nominal size do I need?
NW 150 is designed for welding fume extraction. NW 200 is suitable for larger air volumes, for example in flux-cored arc welding. We are happy to advise you on the right version.
Does the extraction arm stay in any position?
Yes. The spring-assisted joints hold the arm self-supporting in the set position.
How do I reach large work areas?
With the combination of extraction arm and wall bracket or with an extraction crane. Both cover longer reaches than an arm on its own.
Can I mount an extraction arm on a mobile unit?
Yes, there are versions for unit mounting on mobile filter systems.
How much does an extraction arm cost?
That depends on length, nominal size and version. You can see your conditions after logging in to the shop, and we will also be happy to prepare a quotation for you.
