Young talent masters first steps in the professional world

There was a lot of input for Tom, Linus, Flynn and Marlon during their first days at the air purifiers in Coesfeld. A tour of the factory, getting to know the product range, introductions to all departments, safety instructions - "That was a lot," says Marlon. But training coordinator Gundel Schmidt and HR manager Björn Wendland guided them safely through the first days of working life. The boys had already met their apprentice colleagues at a junior staff action day a few weeks ago. A total of ten young people - and thus around 15 percent of TEKA's workforce - are learning everything that industrial clerks, technical product designers and construction mechanics need to know these days at the extraction system manufacturer.

Now Marlon is looking forward to getting started with the first tasks in his dream job as a technical product designer. "It is important to us that the trainees are quickly introduced to the occupational fields and learn everything from the basics to the tricks of the trade. At the same time, working independently with the support of experienced team colleagues is very important at TEKA," explains Gundel Schmidt.

Before the start of training is after the start of training: the air cleaners are already looking for junior staff for 2022 as industrial clerks, technical product designers, electronics technicians for industrial engineering and construction mechanics for sheet metal construction technology.
